Last Friday, Papa Roach launched the European leg of their Rise Of the Roach World Tour with a high-octane set at Wacken Open Air. To mark the occasion, they dropped the epic Jesse Davey and Ed Shiers-directed video for their latest single, ‘BRAINDEAD’. Taken from their forthcoming independently released 12th studio album, the track clocks in at just over two minutes—and doesn’t waste a second. Driven by a gritty riff and thunderous drums, Jacoby Shaddix’s rapid-fire vocal lines mesh seamlessly with H2O frontman Toby Morse’s raw, hardcore edge. Lyrically, it’s a rallying cry—“One life, one chance, don’t throw it away”—delivered with conviction and urgency. With over 4bn global streams to date (1.1bn via their own label), Papa Roach continue to unite generations of rock fans. ‘BRAINDEAD’ has earned strong DSP support, landing on Spotify’s All New Rock and Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock and amassing over 4.4m streams, as well as spins on BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show and Kerrang! Radio. Ahead of their sold-out UK arena tour earlier this year, the band raised awareness and funds for CALM through the release of ‘Leave A Light On’.
