Summer Family Support: Backing Parents Working in the Music Industry

The PRS Members’ Fund is offering a package of support to families during the school summer holidays.

The PRS Members’ Fund can provide support to families under financial pressure.

Working parents in the music industry face unique challenges during the summer holidays, often needing support to balance work commitments with childcare needs. 

The Fund wants to make life a little easier and offer some help with the extra costs, whether it’s paying for a holiday club for a couple of weeks or providing an injection of funds for family day trips, or helping with increased costs generally.  

 

What’s included:

• Holiday clubs (up to £500 for a maximum of two weeks)
• Family day trips (up to £150)
• School uniforms (up to £250 for senior school and £50 for primary school)
• General costs (up to £250).

Who can apply:

• You must have been a member of PRS for Music for 7 years or have earned
  £500 in royalties
• Evidence of child benefit must be provided (letter from HRMC confirming child benefit).

Points to Note:

• Confirmation of holiday club booking will need to be provided
• Copy letter from the school detailing school uniform requirements
• End date 1^st week September.
