Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Appoints 13 New Trustees to Drive Global Impact



Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) is not just a charity—it’s a movement. Powered by electronic music and grassroots action, the organisation channels the unifying power of the dancefloor to deliver life-changing support to children and young people facing adversity across the globe. From building wells in Africa, to mentoring youth in the UK, LNADJ's mission is clear: to build hope through music.
 
In a major step forward, the charity has announced the appointment of 13 new trustees to help scale its global impact and deepen its connection with the music and creative industries.
 
The newly appointed trustees bring a broad range of expertise across music, business, education, finance, technology, and community engagement—united by a shared belief that music is more than entertainment: it’s a force for social good.
 
New Trustees Appointed to LNADJ Board
Silvia Montello (Chair)
Silvia Montello is a strategic leader with decades of experience in the music industry. A passionate advocate for inclusion and sustainability, Silvia steps into the role of Chair with a vision for global growth and meaningful change.
 
Alex Jukes
As the CEO of Jukebox PR and founder of The Tribes, Alex Jukes brings a dynamic voice in music, tech, and digital culture. His global reach and marketing acumen make him a powerful asset to LNADJ's future.
 
Kamelia Zaal
A creative entrepreneur and champion of wellness, Kamelia Zaal’s background in design, marketing, and philanthropy is matched by her commitment to music and positive impact. She brings both strategic insight and emotional intelligence to the board.
 
Rob Cowan
Rob Cowan is the founder and CEO of Point Blank Music School, a global leader in music education. His belief in empowering the next generation through learning aligns closely with LNADJ’s values.
 
Matt Pelling
Founder of Loopmasters, Plugin Boutique, and CEO of Rhodes Music Group, Matt Pelling is a pioneer in music tech. A long-time supporter of LNADJ, he brings commercial expertise and creative energy.
 
Brian Reynolds
A green technology entrepreneur and early LNADJ backer, Brian Reynolds previously worked in commercial property and now leads a business converting waste into clean energy. His belief in music’s power to do good has been a constant thread in his support.
 
Kikelomo
A DJ, broadcaster (Rinse FM), and Boiler Room regular, Kikelomo is also co-founder of Oroko Radio, a Ghana-based platform championing Black and African voices. Her work in community and cultural spaces makes her a vital new voice on the board.
 
Ross Murray
Co-founder of The Live Crew, Ross Murray has worked in live events for decades. A steadfast supporter of LNADJ—including on challenging fundraising treks like Kilimanjaro—he brings logistical know-how and a deep commitment to the cause.
 
Dominic Sunderland
A lifelong DJ and now headteacher at a UK school for pupils with speech, language, and communication needs, Dominic Sunderland embodies the union of creativity and care. His background spans music, special education, and youth advocacy.
 
Lee Morrison
Founder of rightsHUB and an active member of AFEM, Lee Morrison brings three decades of experience in music rights and digital innovation. His guidance will support the charity’s long-term sustainability and rights management.
 
Simon Runcie
A Chartered Accountant and Global CFO of a successful algorithmic trading business, Simon Runcie offers deep financial expertise. Based in Malta, he has supported LNADJ for years and brings passion and precision to the board.
 
Carly Heath
Appointed as Bristol’s first Night Time Economy Advisor, Carly Heath chairs Bristol Nights and is a key advocate for workers, businesses, and culture in the after-dark economy. A communications expert, she brings two decades of experience in music, nightlife, and policy.
 
Jono Heale
Director of ACS Custom,a respected campaigner for hearing health and wellbeing in the music industry, Jono Heale has worked with LNADJ in various capacities and now joins the board as a trustee, contributing years of sector insight and advocacy experience.
